Routinely Absent and Nonresponsive Property Managers

Columbia Uptown suffers from routinely absent and nonresponsive property managers. Although the leasing office is supposed to be open from 9–5, Monday-Friday, this is rarely the case. With no warning or notice, they will simply leave the leasing office closed on any given day, with no means for residents to contact someone with their (sometimes urgent) concerns. They will also routinely close the office early and open the office late. If/when you do manage to get a hold of someone in the office, you will be met with unhelpful staff who consistently fail to resolve resident concerns. Unless you like having no helpful and accessible employees at your apartment to handle any of your housing issues, avoid Columbia Uptown and Van Metre Apartments at all costs!
